2. General provisions
The Policy applies to all information that the Operator may obtain about the User when the Website and the Service are used.
- This Policy is drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR where they apply to you, and other data protection laws of your country or state (for example the CCPA/CPRA in California) to the extent they apply.
- By using the Website, registering in the Service or submitting the contact form, the User confirms that they have read the Policy and agree to its terms. If the User does not agree with the Policy, they should stop using the Website.
- The Policy is an integral part of the Offer and the User Agreement of the Service where their terms so provide.
- The Operator does not verify the accuracy of the data provided by the User and assumes that the User provides accurate information and updates it in a timely manner.
- The Website may contain links to third-party websites. The Operator is not responsible for their content or privacy policies; this Policy applies only to information processed on the RedHunt Website.
3. What data we process
- Data you provide yourself: name, email address, telephone number (if you provide it), company name and job title, the text of your enquiry, account data (login, password hash), history of support requests.
- Data about use of the Service: the domains, projects, keywords and check settings you add, the reports you create, the log of actions in your account. We process them so that the Service works and delivers results.
- Payment data: plan, amount, date and status of the payment. Payment details (card number, etc.) are processed by the payment provider; the Operator does not receive or store them.
- Technical data transmitted automatically: IP address, cookie data, browser and device information, language, access time, the address of the requested page, referrer, actions on the Website.
- We do not request special categories of personal data (health, beliefs, biometrics) and ask you not to submit them through the Website.
4. Purposes of processing
The Operator processes only the data needed for the stated purposes, and only on lawful grounds: a contract with the User, compliance with the law, consent and the Operator's legitimate interest.
- Registration and identification of the User, providing access to the account and the Service's features.
- Performance of the contract: activating a plan, issuing invoices, accepting payments, generating reports.
- Communication with the User: replies to enquiries and requests, service notifications about changes to the Service, plans and terms.
- Technical support, ensuring security, preventing fraud and abuse.
- Improving the Website and the Service: analytics, statistics and research based on anonymized data.
- Informational mailings and promotional messages — only with the User's separate consent; you can unsubscribe from mailings at any time.
- Compliance with legal obligations that apply to the Operator.
- Legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR / the equivalent provisions of the applicable law): performance of the contract with you, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), the Operator's legitimate interests (security, service improvement, defence of legal claims) and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Methods and terms of processing
- Processing is carried out with and without the use of automation tools: collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, retrieval, use, transfer, anonymization, blocking, deletion and destruction.
- Data is stored no longer than the purposes of processing require: account data — while the account is active; data for accounting and tax purposes — for the periods set by law; support requests — until the purpose of the request is achieved and then for a reasonable period to protect the Operator's rights.
- The Service is operated from servers located in the Russian Federation, so your data may be processed and stored there. This is a transfer to a country that may not offer the same level of data protection as your country. The Operator transfers data only as far as necessary to provide the Service you request, with your consent and/or on the basis of the contract with you, and applies technical and organisational security measures. For transfers outside the EEA/UK this relies on the necessity for performing the contract and on your explicit consent.
- The Operator takes legal, organizational and technical protection measures: connection encryption (HTTPS/TLS), access segregation, backups, control of employee access. Access to data is given only to those who need it for their work.
8. User rights
- To obtain confirmation of whether their personal data is processed and access to it, including the purposes, the recipients and the retention periods.
- To obtain rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, erasure of data and restriction of processing where the legal conditions are met.
- To receive their data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability).
- To object at any time to processing based on the Operator's legitimate interests.
- To withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal, by sending an email to hello@redhunt.pro with the subject “Withdrawal of consent to personal data processing”. Withdrawal of consent may make it impossible to provide the Service; in that case the account will be deleted and the data destroyed, except for data that the Operator is required by law to retain.
- To opt out of promotional and informational mailings via the link in the email or by contacting hello@redhunt.pro.
- To lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example the ICO in the United Kingdom) or a court.
- To fulfil a request, the Operator may require the User to confirm their identity. A reply to the enquiry is sent without undue delay and in any case within one month.
9. Liability
- The Operator is liable for losses incurred by the User in connection with the unlawful use of their personal data, to the extent provided by applicable law.
- The Operator is not liable for the loss or disclosure of data if it became public before the loss or disclosure, was obtained from a third party before the Operator received it, or was disclosed with the User's consent.
- The User is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for the safekeeping of their login and password.
10. Changes to the Policy
- The Operator may amend the Policy. The new edition takes effect from the moment it is published on this page, unless it states otherwise. Previous editions are kept in the Operator's archive.
- The date of the current edition is given at the beginning of the document. By continuing to use the Website after the changes are published, the User agrees to the new edition.
